This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the comfortable beds in the nicely decorated rooms to the basic amenities provided. Additionally, its location near the subway and in a shopping centre makes it convenient for finding good restaurants for dinner.
All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

the rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was also central, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. It was great to have a comfortable room to come back to after a long day of exploring the city.
There were also some negative aspects to this hotel. the air conditioning in the room didn't work well, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.

There were three good shopping centers nearby, all within walking distance. the room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was clean and had all the necessary amenities. the service from the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast served in the restaurant was a good Chinese breakfast.
The internet service was quite expensive compared to other hotels in the area.

The Mandarin Hotel Shanghai exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional. With prices starting at around $56 USD, including a buffet breakfast, it was a steal. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident in the clean and tidy rooms. I was pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable bed and a window that opened to let in fresh air. Additionally, the hotel's location next to several nice restaurants and in close proximity to three good shopping centers made it a convenient choice for dining and shopping.
My stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find any faults.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the free Wifi and the comfortable bed offered at the hotel. the location was also very convenient for exploring the city as it was close to many shops and restaurants. the breakfast buffet was delicious and provided a variety of options.
the staff at the reception did not speak English very well which made communication difficult.
